Returns Policy for Spare Parts, Components or Third Party Supplied Goods

Delivery of an order shall be complete on completion of unloading of the Products at the delivery location specified by 1st Choice Electrical. Products sent by a third party Supplier will include carriage paid and accompanied by a packing note unless otherwise agreed in writing. If we receive notification of any defect in the Services or in any of the Products, which in the reasonable opinion of 1st Choice Electrical is attributable to the Supplier, the Supplier shall, promptly remedy the defect in the manner reasonably required by 1st Choice Electrical. All costs of effecting such remedy shall be borne exclusively by the Supplier.

Customers have a duty of care to return unwanted parts or stock items in a resalable condition. You should ensure goods are well protected in transit and where original manufacturer's packaging was supplied, this should also be returned in it's orinal form. In order to be eligible for refund or exchange, goods must be returned in their original condition.

Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.

Any claim by you in respect of any shortages and/or defects in the goods must be notified to us by you within seven days of the delivery date, stating the nature of the shortage/defect and quoting the order reference number; failure to so notify us will deem you to have accepted the goods. Where you make a valid claim in respect of any shortages or defects and we are liable for the claim, we can at our option make up the shortages or replace the goods free of charge, or refund the price of the goods in question to you. In addition for defective goods we will refund you reasonable costs incurred for postage of the goods, but we shall have no further liability to you. If you do not notify 1st Choice Electrical accordingly, we shall have no liability for any defects and you shall be bound by our orignal Terms and Conditions to pay for the goods.

We recommend you return any parts or goods by recorded delivery.

The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, failure of any communications, telecommunications or computer system, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the Seller shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
